Branding: a Day in the life

I think I am on social media every day. I use Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Pinterest more often. I use Instagram and snapchat to share pictures and videos with my friends. I use WhatsApp to talk to my parents and my family who lives in Congo because it’ s cheaper. I use LinkedIn for social networking especially for the business community, and I use Pinterest to get some inspiration about fashion. I use Facebook sometimes. Instagram and Snapchat are fun. I can spend a day without using Instagram or Snapchat, but this day I’m trying to balance my way of using social media and doing important things. I use to spend two hours on Instagram instead of reading a book that can educate me. Social media has some positive advantages like it helps us connect with friends, people, new friends, business people, even some companies now approach candidates through social media. It helps to know what is happening in the world quickly. However, social media has negative impacts on people lives too. Some people try to compare their lives, and other people live on social media. For example, some people think other people have a greater life than them. Some people use social media to threaten others. There are many lies in social media. People don’t know how to communicate anymore; everyone is on his phone instead of talking to each other. It easy to spend many hours on social media rather than doing productive things. I receive many emails from different companies. Some are not that important. I usually check those that have jobs offered. I look for that because I will graduate soon and I’m looking for a career where I need to start. Use of social media in marketing is the best to connect with consumers and industries. Social media is the best way of interacting with customers by reading their tweets, their comments about your products. It helps Industries, companies to understand their customers because you are building a relationship with them. Social media has become a better place to target clients around the world. With social media, your products will be known everywhere in the world. There are targets ads, that can be customized around the customers’needs. With technology, social media has become the key to customer service. For example, if people love your products, they will share some comments on tweeter, Instagram, Facebook, and other people will know about it. It is the same thing if they don’t like it. Social media marketing will help you do better with the competitions. It still good to use social media marketing, but it is also good to have another strategy different from social media.
